I graduated in Computing and Industrial Management Engineering at the Technion in Haifa, Israel. Since then I have had extensive experience in computer services, management and marketing, and in providing education. I founded the Healthcare Learning Company (HLC) in 2000 and over the last 10 years I have watched Healthcare Learning: Smile-on grow to become one of the UK’s leading education providers in the world.

Outside of work I am a fellow of the RSA. I’m active on various Charities as well as being a trustee of the Sternberg Foundation and other trusts. I am also a member of the London Rotary Club and the RSM. My hobbies include playing the saxophone, listening to jazz and classical music, watching theatre productions and both painting and collecting art. I also enjoy high mountain hiking.

Interesting fact:

I reflect the twin characteristics of a Gemini (which is my star sign): I like maths and physics, yet I also like subjects of art and music.

Proudest moment:

I was part of the elite force of Israeli commandos that rescued 100 civilians who had been held hostage by pro-Palestinian hijackers at Entebbe airport, Uganda, in June 1976.

Lifelong goal/aim:

To continue Healthcare Learning creativity and be the best healthcare education provider in the world.

What would you do with a million pounds?

Why just a million? But even still I would help out charities.

What I like about Noam:

Noam is a very caring boss who goes out of his way to help an employee in distress. He has a unique sense of humour which adds to a very big character
