MSc in Pharmacy Administration & Policy Regulation
This 2-year part-time master’s programme is delivered in partnership with the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town, South Africa, is taught in English and is suitable for employees within the pharmaceutical, drug development and related healthcare industries and will equip you with vital expertise to deal with all aspects of pharmaceutical drug delivery. You will learn the skills needed to solve the medical, scientific and economic challenges in the dynamic and constantly changing world of pharmaceutical science, drug development and wider healthcare.
The programme covers the drug development process, from discovery through research and development to regulatory approval and commercialisation. Originally developed by Hibernia College, in partnership with Pfizer, Novartis, Sanofi and Quintiles, this programme integrates Healthcare Learning’s innovative learning solutions and learner support into a world-class programme.
The course is delivered online and will combine interactive webinars, recorded lectures, eLearning and collaborative discussion forums. This creates an integrated programme using the best of media and technology. There is no requirement to travel to attend any components of this programme, however optional residential workshops may be offered where appropriate.
The course modules can be taken in any order, ensuring the maximum flexibility of start-dates.

Module 2: Medical affairs
Module 3: Regulatory sciences
Module 4: Research methods
Module 5: Dissertation
You must have obtained either a 4-year Pharmacy degree (e.g. BPharm) or a 4-year Science degree (e.g. BSc Hons) with relevant experience in pharmacy. You will also be asked to provide two academic or professional references.
A limited number of bursaries are available for students from developing countries.
